FOOGAZ began when I was just five years old, naming my imaginary production company after the Catalan word for fleeting

Even then, I was drawn to beauty that passes quickly but leaves a lasting trace. Today, FOOGAZ is my way of honoring that vision — capturing life’s most meaningful moments with artistry and intention.

I was born and raised in Barcelona, where warmth, light, art, and beauty are part of daily life. That foundation has carried me across continents, shaping a career as an award-winning film director and multidisciplinary artist. For more than 15 years, I’ve worked internationally across cinema, photography, painting, poetry, and dance — all of which influence the way I see and capture your story.

My Approach

I believe in connection — between people, and with the places that hold their memories. When I travel for a story, I arrive early to wander, to listen, to absorb the rhythm of a place. Because the poetry of a home, a city, or a landscape is part of the story, too.

Foogaz is committed to helping change that. A portion of every commission supports training programs for emerging female-identified filmmakers and photographers, empowering them to share the stories that will shape our future.

Mariona is beyond a photographer—she’s a true artist with the camera. She frames each image so thoughtfully: she has an inherent eye for the beauty in things, and the result is cinematic and breathtaking. Beyond her natural talent is a kind, welcoming energy that had me (a camera-shy person!) beaming in front of the lens. She was so encouraging and enthusiastic, and made me feel heard and appreciated throughout every step of the process. Thank you, Mariona, for bringing our engagement shoot to life!
